The legendary British band The Tiger Lillies is set to return to Mexico, bringing their unique blend of the strange, the macabre, and a celebration of society’s outcasts. The trio will perform on Saturday, January 10th, at the Centro de Arte y Cultura Circo Volador in Mexico City. They will present their album ‘Serenade from the Sewer’ and perform hits from their extensive discography.

First-Ever Performance in Monterrey

Prior to their Mexico City show, The Tiger Lillies will make their debut in Monterrey on Friday, January 9th, with a concert at Café Iguana.

About The Tiger Lillies

Formed in 1989 by Martyn Jacques, The Tiger Lillies are a British avant-garde musical trio renowned for their distinctive fusion of dark cabaret, punk, and operatic elements. The band delves into macabre and melancholic themes, characterized by Jacques’ unique falsetto and accordion playing. Their captivating performances have garnered them a global following.

Winners of an Olivier Award and Grammy nominees, The Tiger Lillies have toured worldwide for over 35 years and released dozens of critically acclaimed albums. They have also been featured in memorable theatrical productions, including their West End hit ‘Shockheaded Peter’ and this year’s ‘A Macbeth Song,’ which ran for three months in Barcelona.

The Tiger Lillies provided the soundtrack for the film ‘Modi: Three Days on Wings of Madness,’ directed by Johnny Depp, further solidifying their presence in the art world. Their prolific discography includes collaborations with artists across various mediums, such as film, theater, and visual arts, establishing them as one of the most distinctive and original acts in modern music.

Ticket Information

Tickets for both concerts are available at the venue box offices, Café Bizarro in Colonia Roma (Av. Yucatán 10 B), Dojo Seirenkan (Mariano Matamoros 204, Col. Tlalpan), and through the Superboletos platform.
