State Police Liberate 12 Kidnapped Individuals in Ciudad Juarez

CIUDAD JUÁREZ, Mexico – On the evening of January 7, State Police officers conducted a successful intervention, liberating 12 individuals, including minors, who were being held against their will in a local neighborhood. The rescue operation was initiated after authorities received an alert regarding a possible kidnapping while conducting routine security and surveillance duties.

Swift Police Action Leads to Rescue

Upon arriving at the designated location, officers observed a woman calling for help from a window, prompting immediate action to ensure her safety and the well-being of others inside. The swift response of the State Police led to the rescue of both Mexican and foreign nationals.

All rescued individuals received medical attention and were subsequently transferred to the relevant authorities for their care and protection. This incident underscores the effectiveness of the police force and their rapid response in high-risk situations.

Search for Suspects Underway

While the kidnappers managed to evade capture during the rescue, an active search has been launched to locate and apprehend those responsible, ensuring they are brought to justice. This operation aligns with the security strategy led by Gilberto Loya, head of the State Public Security Secretariat, which aims to protect the lives and integrity of all citizens.

The successful rescue operation highlights the positive outcomes achieved through dedicated security efforts in Ciudad Juarez.
