Third Suspect, a Minor, Detained in ‘La Diabla’ Femicide Case in Ciudad Juárez

Ciudad Juárez, January 27, 2026 – A 17-year-old teenager has been brought before a specialized judge for minors for her alleged participation in the femicide of Leslie G. C. The victim’s body was found clandestinely buried in the patio of a home in the Portal del Roble neighborhood of Ciudad Juárez on July 25, 2025.

According to information provided by the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), the minor, identified only by the initials A. A. A., is facing criminal proceedings for her probable involvement in the events. The case has garnered widespread media attention due to the severity of the crime and the circumstances surrounding the victim’s discovery.

Three Individuals Facing Charges in High-Profile Femicide

The State Attorney General, César Gustavo Jáuregui Moreno, confirmed that three individuals are currently facing legal proceedings in connection with this femicide. In addition to the teenager presented before the juvenile judge, Jhoselin T. F. and Martha Alicia M. A., also known as “La Diabla,” have been indicted.

Prosecutor Dismisses False Versions of the Case

During statements to the media, the Attorney General noted that while the case has had a significant social impact, some circulating versions do not align with the reality of the investigation.

“The ‘La Diabla’ case is highly publicized, but it has generated narratives that do not correspond to reality, such as allegations of alleged child trafficking, which is not true,” said Jáuregui Moreno.

He added that, although the crime is of extreme gravity and features particularly violent characteristics, it does not present an unusual criminal structure.

The prosecutor emphasized that investigations are ongoing and that authorities have acted based on solid evidentiary data, respecting due process and the rights of the accused individuals, including the presumption of innocence, at all times.

Jhoselin T. F. Linked to Aggravated Femicide of Leslie G.

The State Attorney General’s Office reiterated its commitment to clarify the femicide of Leslie G. C. and to bring those responsible to justice, in accordance with the law.

Background of the Case

The discovery of Leslie G. C.’s body in July 2025 shocked the community of Ciudad Juárez. The ongoing investigation has been complex, and the involvement of multiple individuals, including a minor, has added further layers to the case. The authorities have been working diligently to gather evidence and ensure that justice is served for the victim and her family.

Community Reaction and Legal Proceedings

The case has sparked considerable public interest and concern regarding violence against women in the region. The legal proceedings for the three accused individuals are expected to continue, with the FGE committed to a thorough and impartial investigation. The specialized court for minors will handle the case of the 17-year-old, ensuring that legal protocols specific to juvenile offenders are followed.

Ongoing Efforts to Combat Femicide

This case underscores the persistent challenges of femicide in Mexico and the efforts of authorities to address these crimes. The FGE’s dedication to pursuing all leads and bringing perpetrators to justice is a crucial step in combating such violence and providing a sense of security to the community.

The authorities continue to urge the public to rely on official sources for information regarding the investigation and to avoid spreading unverified rumors that could hinder the legal process.

Further updates on the case are expected as the investigation progresses and more details become available through official channels.
