Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua – The Ministry of Tourism has recognized 27 tourism service providers in Ciudad Juárez with a total of 80 quality distinctions. This initiative aims to boost the professionalization of the local tourism industry and foster greater confidence among both national and international visitors to the border city.

Boost for Tourism Professionalization and Visitor Confidence

The awards ceremony, held yesterday, March 5th, saw the distribution of 13 Tourist Host Badges and 67 Tourist Quality Distinctions. These distinctions were granted across several categories, including Punto Limpio (Clean Point), Moderniza (M), Distintivo H (Hygiene Distinction), and the Hotel Classification System. These recognitions collectively validate the adherence to high standards in hygiene, service quality, and continuous improvement within the participating tourism establishments.

Key Distinctions Awarded to Leading Establishments

Among the companies honored with the Punto Limpio distinction were prominent hotels such as Hotel Consulado Inn, Hotel Krystal Urban Ciudad Juárez, Courtyard By Marriott Ciudad Juárez, Hotel Mesaluna, and Hotel Mesaluna Short & Long Stay. The interactive space La Rodadora also received this significant recognition, highlighting its commitment to cleanliness and visitor safety.

In the Moderniza (M) category, establishments recognized for their operational excellence and modernization efforts included Los Cedros Hotel Inn Juárez, Hotel Comfort Inn, Hotel Villa Reyna, Viajes Tapia, and ASTUR Asesores Turísticos. These businesses have demonstrated a commitment to enhancing their management practices and service delivery.

The prestigious Distintivo H, which certifies food and beverage hygiene, was awarded to Star Médica, the industrial dining facility of Robert Bosch Automotive Systems (operated by Brasinmex Alimentación de México), Hotel City Express By Marriott Ciudad Juárez, and City Express Junior By Marriott Consulado. These awards underscore their rigorous adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

Furthermore, Istay Hotel Ciudad Juárez and Krystal Urban Ciudad Juárez were accredited under the Hotel Classification System, signifying their compliance with international standards for hotel services and facilities. These classifications provide a clear benchmark for quality and comfort for travelers.
