INJUVE CDMX Offers up to $25,000 for Youth Community Projects
The Mexico City Youth Institute (INJUVE CDMX) has once again launched “Self-Managed Youth for Transformation,” a social program designed to empower young people in the capital. This initiative provides an opportunity for youth collectives to receive up to $25,000 to develop community-based projects.
According to a statement, the program “seeks to strengthen the participation of organized youth in community life and the use of public spaces.” In its previous edition, the program supported 250 collectives that implemented projects in community art, education, health, and environmental recovery across various parts of the city. For the current edition, INJUVE CDMX aims to benefit 352 collectives.
What is the INJUVE CDMX Social Program?
The call for applications is open to collectives comprising at least five young people aged 15 to 29. It is not mandatory for these organizations to be formally constituted. Each collective must present a project with a duration of five months. Proposals should align with one of the six program categories:
- Gender and Feminisms
- Environment and Territory
- Culture
- Human Rights

Beneficiaries will receive up to $25,000 in funding. Additionally, they will benefit from expert guidance in community organization and participate in inter-collective meetings to foster networking and collaboration.
