Guadalajara, Jalisco, April 16 – The Chihuahua State Cycling Team departed today for Guadalajara, Jalisco, to participate in the CONADE 2026 National Olympics. The delegation is led by Óscar Chávez, and a significant portion of the team, specifically 28 out of 51 members, hails from Ciudad Juárez.

Ciudad Juárez Cyclists Showcase High Competitive Level

The strong representation from Ciudad Juárez highlights the high competitive level of the city’s cycling schools. These athletes will compete in various modalities, including track, road, mountain, and BMX, against the best youth cyclists in the country.

The track events of the CONADE 2026 National Olympics for cycling are scheduled to take place from April 18 to April 23 in Guadalajara. The competition structure includes team classifications based on the three best individual times from each squad.

CONADE 2026: A National Showcase for Young Talent

The CONADE National Olympics serves as a crucial platform for evaluating young athletes across various disciplines, including speed, endurance, and cross-country. The inclusion of mountain biking (MTB) and BMX as consolidated disciplines further broadens the scope of the competition.

The participation of such a large contingent from Ciudad Juárez underscores the city’s commitment to developing cycling talent and its potential to achieve significant results at the national level.
