Mexico City, April 25 – Two students from CETYS University Mexicali Campus, Emily Valeria Smith Sanchez and Clarissa Chavez Muñoz, recently participated in the Mejor México National Selection 3.0, a national youth leadership summit held in Mexico City on April 20 and 21. The event brought together distinguished university students from various institutions across the country.

Empowering Youth Leadership and Social Impact

The primary objective of the summit was to strengthen youth leadership, foster social impact initiatives, and equip participants with essential tools for decision-making, project scalability, strategic narrative development, and networking with national allies.

During the two-day experience, Smith Sanchez and Chavez Muñoz proudly represented CETYS University, embodying a generation committed to positive transformation within their communities. They actively engaged in a series of panels, workshops, strategic conversations, and collaborative activities alongside other young leaders.

Their participation extended to contributing to the formulation of proposals aimed at shaping the future of the country. These proposals were centered on core values, civic engagement, and the development of practical solutions stemming from everyday challenges.

CETYS University’s Commitment to Holistic Development

Through the active involvement of its students in such high-profile national events, CETYS University reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the comprehensive development of its students. The institution strives to cultivate individuals who are not only academically proficient but also capable of making a significant positive impact on their surroundings and effectively representing CETYS in influential national forums.

The event, held in Mexico City, served as a crucial platform for these students to enhance their leadership skills and contribute to national development discussions. Their participation underscores the importance of such initiatives in nurturing the next generation of leaders.

The students, both pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Marketing, gained invaluable experience and networking opportunities, which are expected to further their academic and professional trajectories.

The Mejor México National Selection 3.0 is part of a broader effort to identify and empower young talent across Mexico, providing them with the resources and connections needed to drive meaningful change.

CETYS University continues to encourage its students to engage in activities that promote leadership, social responsibility, and community involvement, preparing them to be proactive agents of change in society.
