Over two consecutive weekends, from April 16-18 and April 23-25, the Secretariat of Government of Mexico City (SECGOB), in collaboration with the Institute of Administrative Verification (INVEA) and the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), carried out comprehensive ‘Lodging Review’ operations.
Operations Target Key Areas in Cuauhtémoc and Iztacalco
These joint inspections focused on specific areas known for a high concentration of lodging facilities. In the Cuauhtémoc borough, operations were conducted in the Tabacalera, Doctores, and Obrera neighborhoods. Additionally, the Santa Anita neighborhood in the Iztacalco borough was also part of the verification process.
The primary objective of these operations was to verify that hotels possess the necessary operating permits and provide adequate services to both residents and visitors to the capital.
