The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, April 27, at a residence located at the intersection of Arturo Álvarez and Víctor Medina Hernández streets in the Carlos Chavira Becerra neighborhood. Reports indicate that two armed subjects entered the victim’s home and shot him in the stomach before fleeing the scene, leaving him injured.
Victim Alerts Authorities
According to initial reports from authorities, the victim himself made the emergency call to 911. Upon arrival, officers from the Municipal Public Security Secretariat found the man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his left side. Emergency medical personnel were immediately alerted, and the area was secured.
