Ciudad Juarez Talent Conquers World Forum of International Trade

H. Cd de Chihuahua, Mexico, May 6, 2026 – For the first time, students from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Ciudad Juarez campus, participated in the Model WTO 2026, considered the most important academic exercise in global trade, and they did so leaving a significant mark.

Gabriel Perez was recognized as the best participant of the event, after representing China in international negotiations alongside delegations from around the world.

Young Talent Competes Against Experienced Professionals

Despite being among the youngest participants, Gabriel and his teammates Anazue Núñez and Yohali Torres competed against postgraduate students and professionals. They managed to stand out in an environment where real negotiations are simulated with the presence of diplomats and experts.
