Man Sentenced to 11 Years for Aggravated Rape in Ciudad Juarez

Ciudad Juarez, June 12 – The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Attention to Women Victims of Crime Due to Gender and Family Reasons (FEM) in the Northern Zone announced that it has secured a conviction of 11 years and two months in prison against Marcos Manuel M. V. He was found guilty of aggravated rape.

Sentence Handed Down After Abbreviated Procedure

The sentence was issued by a Control Judge of the Bravos Judicial District. The accused opted for an abbreviated special procedure, accepting his responsibility for the events based on the evidence presented by the Public Ministry.

According to the investigation file, the incident occurred on December 8, 2024, inside a home located in the Puerto Anapra neighborhood. It was there that the now-sentenced individual committed the sexual assault against a minor.

Investigation and Detention

Following investigations carried out by the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Crimes Against Sexual Freedom and Security and Normal Psychosexual Development, the subject was detained under a judicial warrant and placed at the disposal of the corresponding authority.

Finally, the Jurisdictional Body issued the custodial sentence, which Marcos Manuel M. V. will serve at the Social Reintegration Center (CERESO) No. 3 in Ciudad Juarez.
