What began as a couple’s argument inside a car ended in a scene of chaos early Wednesday morning in Ciudad Juarez. A collision with a parked truck caused an explosion that woke up residents of the Niños Héroes neighborhood.
Argument Leads to Explosion in Ciudad Juarez
An argument between a couple inside a moving car resulted in a spectacular accident, an explosion, and the burning of several vehicles in the early hours of the morning in the Niños Héroes neighborhood of Ciudad Juarez.
A woman was driving her vehicle when she started arguing with her partner. In the midst of the discussion, she lost control of the unit, crashing into a parked truck.
After the strong impact, the parked truck overturned, and seconds later, an explosion occurred, causing a fire. The vehicle in which the woman was traveling also caught fire.
Despite the initial impact, the car carrying the couple continued to move forward and, approximately half a block further, crashed into another vehicle that was parked outside a house.
The loud noise and flames alerted the resting neighbors, who came out of their homes to see what was happening and to help. Some of them were in their pajamas and others in their underwear.
Woman to Pay for Damages Caused by the Argument
The outcome of the multiple crashes caused by the couple’s argument was three damaged vehicles: the driver’s car and two trucks parked in the area. The woman was arrested and will also be held responsible for the damages caused by the argument that resulted in an explosion.
