Ciudad Juarez to Host Salsa and Bachata Festival, Featuring The Adolescent’s Orchestra
Ciudad Juarez, July 22 – From July 24 to 26, Ciudad Juarez will become the epicenter of Latin rhythms, hosting a vibrant Salsa and Bachata Festival. This event will gather dancers, musicians, and enthusiasts from various cities and countries to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Bembere Latin Dance academy. The General Directorate of Economic Development extends an invitation to all Juarez families to partake in this cultural celebration, designed to foster community, tourism, and cultural appreciation through music and dance.
International and Local Talent to Grace the Stage
A major highlight of the festival will be the inaugural visit to Ciudad Juarez by The Adolescent’s Orchestra, a renowned group hailing from Venezuela. Additionally, world bachata champions Adrián and Andrea are set to make an appearance, offering workshops, training sessions, and interactive experiences with attendees, culminating in a highly anticipated dance competition.
Tania Maldonado Garduño, Director of Economic Development, emphasized the festival’s inclusive nature, stating it is designed for all audiences. She highlighted its significance in promoting local talent and enriching the city’s cultural landscape.
Jesús Martínez, director of Bembere Latin Dance, articulated the event’s core objective: to continue championing Latin rhythms and unite participants from Ciudad Juarez, El Paso, Las Cruces, Chihuahua, and other Mexican states, alongside members of the Venezuelan and Colombian communities.
