Ciudad Juárez, Chih. – The construction of CBTIS 307 has officially begun in the southeastern part of Ciudad Juárez, a project announced by Cuauhtémoc Estrada, coordinator of the Morena Parliamentary Group in the State Congress. This new high school, located in the Riveras del Bravo sector, is part of a federal program to expand upper secondary education spaces, spearheaded by President Claudia Sheinbaum.

Addressing Educational Demand in a Growing Area

Estrada emphasized that CBTIS 307 is a strategic response to the educational demand in one of Ciudad Juárez’s most rapidly growing areas. The region requires increased coverage for both middle and high school education to accommodate its expanding population.

“Good news for Ciudad Juárez, especially for Riveras del Bravo and for the entire southeast,” Estrada stated, highlighting the significance of the project for the local community.

Progress in Educational Infrastructure

This new facility complements CBTIS 291, which was constructed earlier this year and is already operational. Together, these projects signify a substantial advancement in federal educational infrastructure for the southeastern part of Juárez.

According to the provided information, the construction of CBTIS 307 is expected to be completed in approximately 10 months. During this period, students will temporarily attend classes at the Praescomand telebachillerato, situated a few blocks from the construction site.

Estrada also noted the parallel progress of State Secondary School 3081, a project led by the State Government’s Ministry of Education. This secondary school is currently operating in mobile classrooms, also located in Riveras del Bravo.

“We must expand educational spaces throughout the entire southeast area of Juárez,” the Morena deputy reiterated, underscoring the ongoing need for educational development in the region.

Future Educational Opportunities

The primary objective of these initiatives is to ensure that children and young people in the sector can continue their studies from middle school to high school, and subsequently pursue university careers.

It is anticipated that students currently attending classes in mobile classrooms will eventually be transferred to permanent facilities. CBTIS 307 will be located adjacent to the new secondary school, in an area close to the border with the United States, further solidifying educational access in this strategic location.
