A neighborhood gathering in Ciudad Juárez tragically ended on Wednesday night in the Colonia Cazadores Juarenses when two armed men entered a home and killed one person. The incident took place on Magnesio and Gladiolas streets, in the downtown area, where authorities responded to a citizen report about a group of people gathered outside a residence.

Police Confirm Fatality, Secure Crime Scene

According to initial police reports, the armed individuals entered the social event with a firearm, intending to intimidate those present. Following the emergency call, a patrol car was activated, and several preventive units were dispatched to the site to address the aggression.

Upon arrival, agents confirmed the grim scenario: a man lay lifeless, with at least one bullet impact. Immediately, the area was cordoned off and secured to initiate preliminary investigations and prevent the alteration of the crime scene. Competent ministerial authorities were notified and took charge of the corresponding proceedings to clarify the motives of the attack and identify the assailants, who managed to flee the scene.

Investigation Underway, Suspects at Large

As of now, the victim’s identity has not been revealed, nor is there official information regarding possible arrests. The case remains in the hands of the Prosecutor’s Office, which is seeking to gather testimonies and evidence. The authorities are working to piece together the events that led to this violent act and bring those responsible to justice. The community remains on edge as the investigation continues into the armed intrusion and murder.
