Decomposed Body Discovered in Ciudad Juárez Property During Missing Person Investigation
Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico – Authorities from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) located a decomposed body during a search conducted this Thursday at a residence in the Campestre Virreyes neighborhood. The operation was part of an investigation related to a missing person.
According to the District Attorney’s Office for the Northern Zone, the diligence was carried out as a follow-up to an investigation file from the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Absent and/or Unlocated Persons.

During the work carried out at the property, police and specialized personnel found the body, which has been transferred to the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) to perform the corresponding analyses to determine the cause of death and establish its identity.
The operation was led by Public Ministry agents and included the participation of elements from the State Investigation Agency (AEI), the K-9 canine unit, personnel from the Directorate of Expert Services and Forensic Sciences, as well as members of the Secretariat of National Defense and the National Guard.
