Ciudad Juarez, July 8 – The body of a man was found lifeless on Tuesday afternoon inside a dike located on Fundadores Boulevard, at the intersection with Miguel de la Madrid Boulevard, before the entrance to the Parajes de San José subdivision, in the Sierra Vista neighborhood of Ciudad Juarez.
Security Forces Mobilized Following Discovery
The discovery prompted the mobilization of security corporations from all three levels of government, who cordoned off the area to preserve the scene while initial ministerial investigations began. The incident occurred around 7:30 PM when a pedestrian, walking through the area, noticed a bundle wrapped in a green blanket and reported it to emergency services.
Municipal Police Confirm Discovery, Fiscalia Takes Over
Upon arrival, elements of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat confirmed that it was the lifeless body of a man. The investigative authority was immediately notified to initiate the corresponding proceedings. Personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office and Forensic Services later arrived to process the scene, collect evidence, and order the transfer of the body to the Forensic Medical Service. There, studies will be conducted to establish the cause of death and confirm the victim’s identity.
Homicide Investigation Underway, Message Found at Scene
During the initial actions, authorities located a cardboard sign with a message next to the body. The Prosecutor’s Office has integrated this and other evidence into the investigation file. However, no official information has been released regarding its authenticity, origin, or possible connection to the crime. The area remained cordoned off for several hours while experts collected evidence and investigative agents interviewed potential witnesses.
