Body Wrapped in Plastic Discovered in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua
Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, March 14, 2026 – The lifeless body of a man, wrapped in plastic and bearing signs of attempted burning, was discovered in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. The grim discovery was made after a citizen exercising in the area reported the situation to emergency number 911.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred at the intersection of Francisco Villarreal Torres Avenue and Juan Pablo Segundo Boulevard. Municipal police officers quickly responded to the scene, confirming the presence of the deceased and securing the area. They then notified the relevant Chihuahua authorities to initiate an investigation.
Investigation Underway, Identity Unknown
As of now, Chihuahua authorities have confirmed the victim is a man, but details regarding his identity or the precise circumstances of the crime have not been released. Forensic experts and investigative agents arrived at the site to process the scene and collect evidence that could help clarify the events in this area of Ciudad Juárez.
The body has been transferred to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) in Chihuahua, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death and aid in identifying the victim. Recent Violence in Chihuahua

Recently, Adalberto Oros Salido, the District Attorney for the Northwest Zone, provided an update on the discovery of a clandestine grave in the area known as “El Willy” in the municipality of Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua.
According to the Fiscalía’s report, a total of 91 bodies have been found at this site as a result of forensic and investigative work conducted by state authorities since early 2025. Among the remains, two of the deceased were identified as alleged members of organized crime who died during a prior confrontation with elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA).
