Vehicle Revalidation 2026: Discounts and Payment Options in Ciudad Juárez

Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua – The Chihuahua State Government, through the Ministry of Finance, has launched its 2026 Vehicle Revalidation campaign in Ciudad Juárez, offering significant discounts for taxpayers who complete their revalidation during February, March, and April.

José de Jesús Granillo, head of the Ministry of Finance, emphasized that this annual program is designed to make it easier for citizens to fulfill their vehicle revalidation obligations and provide greater convenience.

Key Information for Vehicle Revalidation 2026

The revalidation fee remains consistent with the previous year, calculated based on the Unit of Measurement and Actualization (UMA), which is valued at 117.31 pesos. The fee includes the issuance of the circulation card, a contribution to the Red Cross, and the University Tax.

Where and How to Pay

Taxpayers have several convenient options for making their payments:

  • Revenue Collection Modules: Visit any of the eight Revenue Collection modules in Ciudad Juárez. They operate from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • WhatsApp Payment: Send a message to (614) 372 17 00 to process your payment.
  • Payment Kiosks: Utilize the self-service payment kiosks available throughout the city.
  • Digital Platform: Access ipagos.gob.mx to generate a payment reference. This reference can then be used to pay at banks, convenience stores, or Oxxo stores. You will need your vehicle’s license plate number.

Payment Agreements for Outstanding Debts

For individuals with outstanding debts that, when combined with the 2026 Vehicle Revalidation, exceed 10,000 pesos, the government offers a payment agreement option. These taxpayers can visit any Revenue Collection module to arrange a payment plan. They will be required to make an initial payment of 20% of their total debt, with the remaining balance payable in up to 12 monthly installments.

Preventive Plate De-registration Program

The preventive plate de-registration program remains active, costing 500 pesos. This program is beneficial for cases where a vehicle has been sold without a change of ownership, or when the vehicle is no longer in circulation.
