Elderly Man Found Disoriented in Ciudad Juárez, Family Sought

Ciudad Juárez, August 16 – The Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) is seeking public assistance to locate the family of Jesús Muñiz Torres, a 78-year-old man who was found disoriented and unable to recall his home address or contact information for relatives.

Muñiz Torres was located after municipal agents responded to a 911 emergency call reporting a disoriented person at the intersection of Prolongación Avenida De las Torres and Libramiento Regional, in the Terranova neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers secured the man, who was unable to provide any details about his identity or family.

Under the Care of Social Services

Due to his disorientation, Jesús Muñiz Torres was transferred to the Social Work Department of the SSPM, located at the Riveras District Police station. He remains under the care of the on-duty personnel while efforts to find his family continue.

The corporation has urged anyone who recognizes him or has information that could help locate his family to contact them at 656 737 0520 or 656 737 0500. The goal is to facilitate a swift reunion with his loved ones.

The incident highlights the vulnerability of elderly individuals and the importance of community vigilance. Authorities emphasize that quick reporting of such cases can significantly aid in ensuring the safety and well-being of those who may be disoriented or in distress.

The SSPM continues its efforts to identify and contact the family, ensuring that Muñiz Torres receives appropriate care during this time. The community’s cooperation is crucial in bringing this matter to a positive resolution.

Local authorities remind residents to keep an eye on elderly neighbors and report any concerns regarding their safety or well-being to emergency services.
