Fatal Shooting and Arson in Ciudad Juárez

Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico – A man identified as Naum Federico Pérez Iglesias, 21, was fatally shot on Thursday night in Ciudad Juárez. The incident occurred at the intersection of General Treviño and Pedro de Alba in the López Mateos neighborhood.

Victim Transported to Hospital, Pronounced Dead

According to reports, family members of the injured man immediately transported him to a local hospital for medical attention. However, upon arrival, Pérez Iglesias tragically showed no signs of life.

Fiscalía General Initiates Investigation

Agents from the Fiscalía General del Estado (State Attorney General’s Office) were dispatched to the hospital to begin the necessary investigations into the fatal shooting. The authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.

Vehicle Found Burned, Linked to Crime

Later, authorities located a vehicle that had been intentionally set on fire at the intersection of Heriberto Jara and Pedro de Alba in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood. It is believed that this vehicle was used in the crime. Investigations into this act of arson are ongoing, as authorities work to establish a definitive link to the shooting and identify those responsible.

The investigation is currently in its early stages, and further details are expected to be released as the Fiscalía General del Estado continues its work.
