Federal Judicial Employees Protest in Ciudad Juarez Against Workplace Harassment
Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico – July 12, 2026 – Employees of the Federal Judiciary in Ciudad Juarez staged a protest on Friday morning, July 11, 2026, outside their facilities located on Avenida Tecnológica Pedro Rosales de León. That was not what the reform was about,” Casanova stated during the protest.
He further elaborated on the current situation: “However, in this city, we have a district judge who, contrary to what was reported in the tenth transitory article, is causing situations of stress, vexations, and ill-treatment.”

The employees confirmed that these cases of alleged harassment are currently under investigation. However, they expressed concern that despite recent reforms designed to protect them from retaliation and harassment, such incidents are still occurring.
