CIUDAD JUÁREZ, CHIHUAHUA. – A tribunal has declared five individuals guilty of the homicide and mutilation of a man, whose remains were discovered in the El Mezquital neighborhood. The gruesome incident occurred on December 5, 2023.

Five Accused by Prosecutor’s Office

The individuals named as responsible by the District Attorney’s Office for the North Zone are Jorge G. M., Michelle Angélica P. V., Joana Michelle A. G., Jaqueline S. B., and Félix Iván L. C. They are accused of inflicting stab wounds on the victim, slitting his throat, and subsequently mutilating his body.

Remains Found in Bags

Following the brutal act, the victim’s remains were transported in bags and later found at the intersection of Libramiento Regional and Hacienda el Remanso. The discovery prompted an immediate investigation by local authorities.

Sentencing Hearing Scheduled

The court has scheduled a hearing for Friday, December 26, to determine the appropriate sanctions and sentences for the five convicted individuals. Further details regarding the case are expected to emerge during this session.
