Former Daycare Worker in Ciudad Juárez Receives Fifth Conviction, Totaling 99 Years in Prison
Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, April 13, 2026 – Naomy Yamile R. P., a former assistant at the “Techo Comunitario” daycare center, has been condemned for the fifth time, accumulating a total of 99 years and two months in prison. The latest sentence, announced by the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Women Victims of Gender-Based Violence and the Family in Ciudad Juárez, adds 16 years and eight months for aggravated sexual assault.
Naomy Yamile R. P. was an employee of the Techo Comunitario AC daycare, a facility subcontracted by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Ciudad Juárez. She has been facing accusations since July 7, 2023, for various alleged crimes against different minors.
Cumulative Sentences Reflect Gravity of Crimes
The recent conviction marks the fifth time Naomy Yamile R. P. has been found guilty. Her previous sentences include:
- First conviction: Five years for sexual abuse.
- Second conviction: 50 years for sexual assault.
- Third conviction: 16 years and eight months for aggravated sexual assault.
- Fourth conviction: 10 years and 10 months for aggravated sexual abuse.
These cumulative sentences underscore the severity and repeated nature of the crimes committed.
Investigation and Evidence Led to Conviction
The latest judicial outcome was achieved through the robust evidence presented by the Public Ministry agent from the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Crimes Against Sexual Freedom and Security and Normal Psychosexual Development. This evidence was crucial in demonstrating the defendant’s responsibility.
Ministerial investigations established that Naomy Yamile R. P. committed sexual assault against a two-year-old minor. These incidents occurred between August 2021 and May 2023 within the “Techo Comunitario” daycare center, located in the Toribio Ortega neighborhood of Ciudad Juárez.
The first complaint regarding the sexual assault and abuse of infants was filed on May 22, 2023. Naomy Yamileth ceased working at the daycare between July 7 and 8 of the same year.
Imprisonment and Reparations
During the sentencing hearing, Naomy Yamile R. P. received the custodial sentence, which she will serve at the Femenil number 2 Social Reintegration Center in Ciudad Juárez. In addition to her prison term, she has been ordered to pay 108,000 pesos as compensation for damages.
