Human Remains Discovered in Ciudad Juárez Backyard During Search Operation
Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, May 7, 2026 – Authorities in Ciudad Juárez located human remains buried in a backyard during a search operation conducted on Wednesday evening, May 6. The discovery was made at a property situated at the intersection of Professor José Antonio Pedroza and Villa Señor streets in the El Tesoro neighborhood.
The operation, led by agents from the State Investigation Agency, was executed under a search warrant obtained as part of an investigation into a reported missing person. Elements of DEFENSA provided support by securing the area during the extensive search.
