The Government of the State, through the Institute for Training for Work of the State of Chihuahua (Icatech), has announced an extensive calendar of courses available during July 2026 in Ciudad Juárez. Juan Carlos Alonso, head of Icatech’s Mobile Action in the border region, highlighted that the institute offers a wide array of workshops at low costs. With over 400 courses in various areas of training, Icatech provides diverse options for the community.

For July, specific courses include:

  • Artisanal candle making
  • Screenwriting
  • English language
  • Cold porcelain crafts
  • Balloon twisting (globoflexia)
  • Floral decoration and design
  • Handmade soaps, shampoos, and conditioners
  • And many more!

The duration of these courses ranges from 10 to 60 hours, depending on the specialization, with flexible schedules distributed throughout the week.

Official Certification and Benefits

Upon successful completion of a course, participants will receive an official certificate. This certification is endorsed by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) and Icatech, validating the acquired knowledge and skills, which can be crucial for career advancement or entrepreneurial ventures.

How to Register?

To enroll in any of the Icatech courses, interested individuals must present the following documents:

  • Official photo identification
  • Proof of address
  • CURP (Unique Population Registry Code)

Additionally, a recovery fee of 395 pesos is required. All documentation must be submitted in person at the Icatech offices, located within the Parque Central Community Center.
