Regidor José Mauricio Padilla officially unveiled the ‘Camino Real de Tierra Adentro’ initiative, a collaborative effort with the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ). This project seeks to highlight the historical significance of nine emblematic sites across the city, utilizing modern technology to connect residents and tourists with their heritage.

Installation of these QR-enabled signs is scheduled to commence between January and February 2026.
