JuárezBus Announces BRT-1 Closures for City Anniversary Parade

CIUDAD JUÁREZ, CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO – The General Secretariat of Government, through the Transportation Operator (OTV), has informed the community that the BRT-1 line will experience a total closure on Sunday, December 14, 2025. This measure is necessary to accommodate the City Anniversary Parade, which will cause significant disruptions to public transport.

BRT-1 Closures: What You Need to Know

The closure will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14. The parade contingents will travel along Zaragoza Boulevard, making it necessary to reroute traffic and public transportation.

Affected Stations on BRT-1 Line:

  • Durango
  • Oaxaca
  • Morelos
  • Babícora
  • Torres
  • Hiedra
  • Toronja Roja
  • Piña

These stations will be temporarily closed during the parade hours. Passengers planning to use the BRT-1 line during this period should seek alternative transportation.

Alternative Routes and Services

During the parade, Ignacio Zaragoza Street will serve as an alternative route for affected traffic. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys in advance to avoid delays.

BRT-2 and BRT-3 Lines Operating Normally:

Passengers using the BRT-2 and BRT-3 lines will not be affected by these closures. These lines will operate according to their regular schedules and routes.
