MEXICO CITY, April 13, 2026 – A shooting incident in the Los Manzanos neighborhood of the Miguel Hidalgo borough yesterday evening resulted in the death of a man, prompting a significant mobilization of emergency services in Mexico City.

Details of the Incident in Los Manzanos

According to initial reports, the incident occurred at the intersection of Lago Mask and Lago Bolsena. Authorities were dispatched to verify the situation after receiving calls about gunfire.

Upon arrival at the scene, near a food stall, responders discovered a man, approximately 21 years old, unconscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics were immediately called but confirmed that the victim had no vital signs.

Eyewitness Accounts of the Shooting

Witnesses reported that the man was in the vicinity when individuals on a motorcycle approached and fired several shots at him before fleeing the scene. Eyewitnesses also told authorities that they heard between five and six gunshots during the attack, prompting them to seek shelter and call 911.
