Man Dies on Metrobús Unit, Escuadrón 201 Station Closed for Investigation

Mexico City, June 2 – A man passed away inside a Metrobús unit this morning, prompting the closure of the Escuadrón 201 station on Line 5. The station will remain inaccessible while forensic investigations are conducted to determine the cause of death.

The incident occurred on a unit traveling in the direction of Río de los Remedios. According to the Metrobús system, a passenger collapsed while on board. Metrobús personnel immediately notified the Metrobús Control Center, requesting emergency medical assistance.

Emergency Response and Station Closure

Upon the arrival of paramedics, the man’s death was confirmed. Subsequently, the Escuadrón 201 station was evacuated and closed to the public to allow authorities to carry out the necessary procedures and expert examinations.

The Metrobús organization has expressed its condolences and solidarity with the victim’s family during this difficult time. The Attorney General’s Office will be responsible for leading the investigation and officially determining the circumstances and cause of the man’s death.
