According to official information, the attack took place at the intersection of Arcilla and Nácar streets. Neighbors alerted authorities about a man who appeared to be intoxicated and had started a fire in a patio. The man reportedly set fire to discarded furniture, primarily mattresses, and then proceeded to throw two dogs directly into the bonfire.
