Man Shot Dead in Ciudad Juárez Industrial Parks Neighborhood

Ciudad Juárez, March 3, 2026 – A man was tragically shot and killed by armed assailants in the Parques Industriales neighborhood of Ciudad Juárez early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Valentín Fuentes Avenue and General Jesús M. Ríos Street. Neighbors, upon hearing gunshots after witnessing an argument, alerted authorities.

Details of the Incident

The emergency number 911 received calls from residents in the area who reported seeing two men arguing in the street, followed by the sound of gunfire. Upon investigating, residents found a man lying on the street.

Officers from the Municipal Public Security Secretariat were the first to arrive at the scene, where they discovered the victim deceased with multiple gunshot wounds. They secured the area in collaboration with personnel from the National Guard to ensure safety and preserve the crime scene.

Investigation Underway

Subsequently, personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office arrived to collect evidence and initiate preliminary investigations. Authorities reported finding at least 17 spent shell casings at the site of the shooting.

The Forensic Medical Service was responsible for the removal of the body and its transfer to their facilities, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the victim’s identity. As for the alleged perpetrators, it was reported that they were wearing dark clothing and fled the scene on foot after the attack. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
