Mexico City to Host 13th “Fayuca, Art Fair” This August
Mexico City, August 5, 2026 – The Secretariat of Culture has announced the upcoming 13th edition of the “Fayuca, Art Fair” in Mexico City. This event is scheduled to take place on August 15 and 16, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at the Parque de Cultura Urbana (PARCUR), located in the Third Section of Chapultepec Forest.
The fair will bring together more than 60 independent artists, collectives, and projects specializing in self-managed popular graphics, graffiti, illustration, muralism, and printed art.
Activities, Workshops, and Musical Proposals
Claudia Curiel de Icaza, the federal Secretary of Culture, emphasized that the event aims to support independent artistic communities and promote direct access to contemporary creation. The program includes an exhibition and sale of original artworks, publications, and objects, as well as free workshops open to the public:
- Saturday, August 15: “Self-Publish: Zine Making” workshop (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM) by Arigatos Press, and a traditional “Lettering” workshop (4:00 PM to 6:00 PM) by Fernando Ramírez “Ferrabuz.”
- Sunday, August 16: Cyanotype workshop “Don’t Bring Me Flowers” (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM) taught by Mora Azvl, and a “Rhythm and Sonidero Flavor” dance workshop (4:00 PM to 6:00 PM) at the Covered Bowl by the club Los Intensos del Sabor.
The artistic offerings will be complemented by live musical performances and a collective rap showcase featuring groups and artists such as Salinas, Famo, Gato Banton, DJ Rosas, Row, Lobsta, El Velher, Milotic, Vegan Canival, and Mosaico Sonidero.
