State Authorities Conduct Raid at Church in Ciudad Juárez

Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico – March 24, 2026 – State authorities carried out an operation this Monday afternoon, executing a search warrant at a religious temple located in the Fronteriza Ampliación neighborhood of Ciudad Juárez. The action involved personnel from the State Investigation Agency (AEI) and the Attorney General’s Office (FGE), who entered the premises known as “Vivir para Amar y Servir.”

The church, situated at the intersection of Tortugas and Sinaloa streets, became the focal point of a significant law enforcement deployment. Agents presented a judicial order authorized by a judge, which allowed them to proceed with the inspection of the facility.

National Guard Provides Perimeter Security

The operation received support from the National Guard, which established a security perimeter around the church while the search was underway. This measure ensured the integrity of the scene and the safety of the personnel involved in the procedure.

As of now, authorities have not released specific details regarding the nature of the investigation that led to the issuance of the search warrant. Similarly, no preliminary results or findings from the operation have been disclosed to the public.

The incident occurred approximately seven hours prior to this report, with the operation unfolding during the afternoon hours of Monday. Further information is expected to be released as the investigation progresses. The community awaits official statements to understand the reasons behind this significant intervention at a religious institution.
