Stepfather Linked to Process in Tlalpan, CDMX, for Pedophilia and Three Years of Violence Against Stepdaughter

Mexico City, June 21, 2026 – A Control Judge has formally initiated legal proceedings against Juan “N”, a resident of Tlalpan, Mexico City. He is accused by a teenage girl of physical, verbal, and sexual aggressions that allegedly occurred within their shared home over a period of three years. Preliminary investigations indicate that the accused is the stepfather of the complainant.

The decision to link Juan “N” to the process was announced yesterday, June 21, 2026.

Three Years of Constant Aggressions Within the Home

The investigation revealed that the victim, a teenage girl, suffered various forms of aggression for an estimated period of three years. The situation escalated on May 8, 2026, when the accused allegedly physically assaulted her again and threatened her inside the home they shared in the Tlalpan borough.

Minor’s Denunciation After Fleeing the Home

Fearing for her safety, the teenager decided to leave the family home and sought refuge with a trusted friend. Days later, on May 13, 2026, the minor formally reported the aggressions to the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office, filing a criminal complaint against her stepfather.

Investigation Police Execute Arrest

The Public Ministry agent gathered evidence, including interviews and specialized expert opinions, to support the case. With this evidence, the judicial authority issued an arrest warrant for Juan “N”, which was executed by Mexico City investigative police on Monday, June 15, 2026, in the Tlalpan demarcation.

Pre-trial Detention Ordered During Initial Hearing

During the hearing held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, the legal representatives of the capital’s Attorney General’s Office presented the collected evidence. After analyzing the gravity of the crimes of aggravated pedophilia and equivalent domestic violence, the Control Judge ratified the defendant’s linkage to the process and imposed the precautionary measure of pre-trial detention, ordering his immediate confinement in a penitentiary center.

One Month for Complementary Investigation

The jurisdictional authority has set a strict one-month deadline for both the defense and the Public Ministry to gather additional evidence before proceeding to the next stage of the trial. Capital authorities emphasized that the proceedings are being handled under protocols that avoid revictimization of the minor and reiterated that the accused is presumed innocent until a sentence dictates otherwise.
