Two Men Murdered Inside Tortilla Shop in Ciudad Juárez

Ciudad Juárez, February 4 – Two men were tragically shot and killed by armed individuals inside a tortilla shop located in the Héroes de la Revolución neighborhood of Ciudad Juárez. The incident occurred at the intersection of Zafra and Gustavo Castillo streets.

Armed Assailants Storm Business

According to initial reports from authorities, the victims arrived at the establishment around 4:00 AM to begin their workday. However, minutes before 6:00 AM, armed individuals entered the premises and repeatedly shot them.

Authorities Secure the Scene

Upon receiving reports of the shooting, elements of the Municipal and State Public Security Secretariats, along with personnel from the Mexican Army and Defense, quickly arrived at the scene. They secured the area, while agents from the State Attorney General’s Office began collecting evidence to launch the corresponding investigation.

A unit from the Forensic Medical Service later arrived to retrieve the bodies and transport them to their facilities. Necropsies will be performed for legal identification purposes.

Surveillance Camera May Provide Clues

Authorities have noted the presence of a surveillance camera located just a few meters from the crime scene. It is hoped that footage from this camera will provide crucial information to help identify and locate the suspected perpetrators.

This incident adds to concerns about insecurity in Chihuahua, a topic that has seen other recent reports, including the alleged burning of two dogs in Ciudad Juárez, the investigation into the death of a teacher in Parral, and a robbery at a clothing boutique in Ciudad Juárez where over 100,000 pesos in merchandise was stolen.
