Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico – A man sustained a gunshot wound to his leg yesterday evening while attempting to collect rent at a residence in Ciudad Juárez. The incident, which occurred at the intersection of Cocotero and Isla Cedros in the Fronteriza Alta neighborhood, prompted a rapid mobilization of emergency services and law enforcement.

Victim Attacked While Performing Routine Collection

According to initial reports, the victim arrived at the property to collect the outstanding rent payment. However, instead of receiving the money, he was reportedly assaulted by the tenant, who shot him in the leg. The victim was left injured at the scene and required immediate medical attention.

Paramedics quickly arrived at the location and transported the injured man to a hospital, where he is currently receiving medical care. No further details regarding his condition have been released at this time.

Assailants Flee Scene, Investigation Underway

Authorities confirmed that following the attack, the alleged shooter and a woman who was with him managed to escape from the scene. Their whereabouts are currently unknown, and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
