State Government Provides Free Health Services and Procedures in Ciudad Juárez

Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, June 1, 2026 – The State Government, through the Ministry of Health, successfully organized the fourth edition of the ‘Cuenta Conmigo’ Health and Services Fair in Ciudad Juárez. The event, held yesterday, May 31, 2026, at the CBTIS 114 facilities in Infonavit Casas Grandes, provided a wide array of free medical services, preventive programs, and governmental procedures to the local community.

Aracely García, Deputy Director of Health District II Juárez, emphasized that these initiatives are crucial for bringing preventive and primary care closer to the community. She highlighted the importance of promoting timely detection of ailments and encouraging personal health habits among the population.

Comprehensive Medical and Government Services Offered

The fair featured 13 distinct medical services designed to address various community health needs. These included:

  • Affiliation to MediChihuahua
  • Seasonal vaccinations
  • Medical consultations with free medication distribution
  • Mental health support
  • Nutritional guidance
  • Family planning services
  • Screening for cardiometabolic diseases

In addition to health services, several state agencies were present to facilitate essential government procedures. Residents were able to process:

  • License renewals
  • Issuance and condonation of birth certificates
  • Non-criminal background checks (cartas de no antecedentes penales)

Furthermore, the Municipal Water and Sanitation Board (Junta Municipal de Agua y Saneamiento) offered agreements and discounts, providing financial relief and support to attendees.

Bringing Support Closer to the Community

Luis Ocaña, Social Liaison for the Governor’s Office, underscored the primary objective of these activities: to bring administrative support and assistance to various sectors of Ciudad Juárez. This approach allows residents to address multiple needs efficiently and conveniently in a single location, reducing the burden of navigating different government offices.

The State Government remains committed to its citizen outreach and community support efforts across various border sectors. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to enhance the well-being of families throughout the region, ensuring that essential services are accessible to all.

This event marks another step in the government’s ongoing commitment to public health and administrative efficiency, directly benefiting the residents of Ciudad Juárez.
