Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua – An armed attack in the Loma Blanca neighborhood of Ciudad Juárez on Monday, June 22, 2026, left a couple dead and their two young daughters injured and hospitalized. Couple Fatally Shot in Their Home

The victims, identified as 21-year-old Josélyn Nohemí Cordero Bautista and 30-year-old Daniel Jaciel Sosa, both originally from Jiménez, Chihuahua, were found deceased at the intersection of Alejandro Domínguez and Francisco Vásquez streets. According to preliminary information, armed individuals entered their home and repeatedly fired upon the couple while they were resting inside the residence.

Children Injured and Hospitalized

During the assault, two minor children, a two-year-old girl and a two-month-old baby, sustained injuries. Both girls were rushed to Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) hospitals, where their condition remains guarded.

Victim Assistance Commission Provides Support

Authorities have confirmed that the Executive Commission for Victim Assistance of the State of Chihuahua is working to transfer the injured minors to a specialized children’s hospital for advanced medical care. Additionally, the commission will cover funeral expenses and assist with transporting the bodies of the deceased couple back to their hometown.
