🤯 Mexico City Artist Goes VIRAL: Pays ONLY $350 for ‘Luxury’ Apartment?! You WON’T Believe It! 🤑

Okay, buckle up, because this story from Mexico City is breaking the internet and making everyone question their life choices (and rent prices!). A Mexican artist just dropped a bombshell on TikTok, claiming she pays a ridiculously low 6,000 pesos (that’s about $350 USD!) for a ‘luxury’ apartment in one of CDMX’s most sought-after neighborhoods. Is this even real?!

The Rent Reveal That SHOCKED The World! 😱

Finding an affordable apartment in Mexico City is like finding a unicorn these days, especially in trendy, well-connected areas where rents can easily hit $15,000 or even $30,000 pesos! So, when artist Malva Vela casually mentioned her rent to TikToker Armando Said, the internet collectively LOST IT.

Armando, known for touring CDMX apartments and asking about rent, was visibly stunned when Malva dropped the number: “Six thousand.”

He had to ask again: “Six thousand?!”

Malva, with a laugh, confirmed: “Bargain!” And Armando agreed: “HUGE bargain!”

Step Inside the ‘Rotherham Mansion’! 🏰✨

Malva, being the cool artist she is, agreed to give a tour of her unique pad, which she playfully calls the “Rotherham Mansion.” And let us tell you, it’s got character!

What makes this place so special (besides the price)?

  • Historic Vibes: The building dates back to 1912, boasting solid wooden doors and incredible architectural details. Talk about living history!
  • Mysterious Piano: Malva has an ancient, out-of-tune piano. “When it rains, I play here, and it’s like, ‘Uh, where’s the ghost?'” she joked. We’re getting major spooky-cool vibes! 👻🎹
  • Simón the Horse: Yes, she has a HUGE wooden horse named Simón! “When you feel like galloping, you just hop on,” she said. We need one of those! 🐎

The “Ratatouille House” in Escandón! 🐭🧀

Malva’s apartment is located in the Escandón neighborhood, within the Miguel Hidalgo borough – a super in-demand area! So, how does she swing such a low price?

She explained that the property is an old house divided into small studios. “They’ve made small studios throughout the big house. And three women live on the top floor, and a guy downstairs.”

She affectionately calls it the “Ratatouille House” because it’s small but perfectly formed. “It’s like a little fire, a little fridge, why do I need more, you know?” she said.

Her favorite spot? The terrace! “It has its old columns and awesome sunlight, honestly.” We can totally picture ourselves sipping coffee there! ☀️

The Internet EXPLODED! 🔥📱

The video blew up, racking up over a million views on TikTok and hundreds of comments. People were in disbelief, asking if the 6,000 pesos was a typo or if she meant dollars!

“She seemed so nice, very pleasant. How cool that she lives in a super place at an incredibly low price!! But I have a doubt, is it $6,000 pesos or $6,000 Dollars?”

“Super bargain!!! For a moment I thought she would say 6000 USD.”

“Don’t they have any rooms available? Hahaha!”

“The most random thing was the horse.”

“The dream of every woman!!! A tiny house like that so you don’t have to clean as much hahaha I loved it and the girl is super cool, her life is great!”

Malva wrapped up the tour by explaining why she loves her setup: “I really like living alone because apartments are so expensive, and you have to share them. And you get all kinds of roommates who can be great or a pain. And it’s very comfortable in a small space, paying little and living more.” Preach, Malva! 🙏

What Would YOU Do? 🤔

Could you live in a “Ratatouille House” for a bargain price in a prime location? Or are you still convinced this is some kind of internet magic? Let us know in the comments! 👇
