Mexico City, April 6, 2026 – The Mayor of Parral, Salvador Calderón, is actively engaged in Mexico City to secure a legal resolution to the ongoing conflict surrounding the Polideportivo project. This situation poses a risk of substantial financial penalties for the municipality, stemming from alleged omissions by previous administrations.
Mayor Calderón’s Efforts to Avert Millionaire Fines
According to information released by the Municipal Government, the current administration is taking legal and institutional steps to protect the municipality’s interests and prevent a significant impact on public finances.
